Kendriya Vidyalaya, OCF Shahjahanpur was established in the year 1982, near OCF Club in a temporary building. The Vidyalaya runs through KVS (HQ) New Delhi under the custodian of Ministry of Education(MoU), NewDelhi. In the admission, preference is given to the children of the Central Government employee. The Vidyalaya is running in 3 sections from class I to XII with three streams, Science, Commerce and Humanities in 1st shift and running from Class I to XII in 2 sections with Science stream in 2nd shift . The medium of instruction is bilingual. The Vidyalaya is dedicated to the provision of quality education and catering to the educational needs of the children of transferable Central Government employees. We strive to inculcate in our students, a sense of awareness, belief in moral values, a respect for the dignity of labour and hard work and prepare them to take their place in society as noble and effective citizens.
The Vidyalaya was shifted to the new building in 1988 with two sections from I to X. The school building was inaugurated by Hon'ble Commissioner KVS and third section was started from the year 2004-05 from class I to X. Vidyalaya is affiliated to CBSE New Delhi and NCERT books are followed by the Vidyalaya under the able and dynamic leadership of our Principal.
Vidyalaya is progressing in all spheres of academic field. Situated in beautiful, verdant surroundings Vidyalaya has a well designed infrastructure. Apart of well equipped Computer, Physics, Chemistry and Biology labs, we also have smart class rooms fitted with the latest multimedia LCD projector and other equipments. Guidance and counselling is provided to the students through qualified counsellor. Games and sports, Drawing and Painting, Music and Yoga are further supplemented by hobby courses like clay modelling, flower decoration and a variety of adventure activity.
Our sincere and hardworking team of staff members are devoted to overall development of the all students on roll and their united efforts have resulted in making the Vidyalaya one of the premiere educational institutions of the region.
